Or it could just be political.

The town hall, which will feature education leaders from the Baton Rouge community, is entitled, "Keeping the Promise: A Town Hall on Education," and will examine how the capital city is working to deliver quality education and related services amid the pandemic.

The town hall will highlight President-Chancellor Dr. Ray Belton of Southern University; Interim President Tom Galligan of Louisiana State University; Interim Chancellor Dr. Willie Smith of Baton Rouge Community College; and Superintendent Warren Drake of the East Baton Rouge School System, and will emphasize the importance of the continued partnership as part of the Capital Area Promise initiative.

Every non-magnet public HS in this city is F rated except for Woodlawn which is a C. WTF does she know about improving education?

I like how her initials are the same as the Sewerage and Water Board so everyone hates SWB.

Names aren't listed in alphabetical order or size of student body. I wonder why they chose to put the flagship second?

Sounds like it's time to forget about C19 and go back after the real virus to her which is the lovely town of St. George.

How about just delivering quality education in the first place.

It’s an election year and she’s desperate for face time.

The mayor of EBR has nothing to do with public education.
