H. C. said that he will enforce his rules by using fire marshal deputies and health department.

State troopers if local police won't follow the governor

do county's not have presidents?
In Louisiana a sheriff is the #2 power in the parish behind the president and also acts as the tax collector. Except in parishes with two sheriff's, in that case they have a criminal sheriff who really just runs the jail system and a tax collector sheriff.

Try reading the state constitution.

Maybe you should. I’m not the one making claims about what it says

I have. That's how I know I'm right.

Sure, but only because you have no idea what it says.

Should be fairly simple to link a quote then

Edit: towns in my parish have a mayor and our parish does not have a president. Our property taxes parishwide are paid by check made out to the sheriffs department.
And if we have a Constable I don’t know it. We’re out of the city limits and I wouldn’t be able to vote for them (never had that option).

Yep. Have fun.
You should probably at least have read the state constitution if you're going to run your mouth.

Not every parish has a president in the typical sense of it, with an elected president and then a separate elected deliberative body. Many (most?) are run by police juries who elect a president/chair from their own ranks.
It's weird because the police jury is the executive and legislative at the same time and that seems... wrong.

Feb 18, 2018 - Parkland shooting
Apr 20, 2018 - Police union vote against sheriff 534-94
Jan 11, 2019 - Sheriff suspended
Oct 23, 2019 - Fla Senate upheld suspension
I) the Fla governor needed Senate approval to remove a sheriff. Which confirms that he is not solely more powerful that the sheriff
II) it took a year and a half to do it. JBE doesn't have that amount of time to win the battle of having his 15 day emergency order enforced

No he didn't. He needed a pen.
The Senate didn't approve the EO. It was challenged and upheld.

No it didn't.
Even if we went with your idiotic implication that the governor started the process when the shooting happened, he was still removed from office barely a year later. But, that would be stupid...
DeSantis came into office January 8th and three days later, Israel was out. So, at best, you get three days. It took all of three days for DeSantis to remove him.

Really it took all of about 5 minutes.
JBE has that kind of time.

Like I said, you don't know what you are taking about. Rick Scott initiated the review. Desantis did the suspension
quote:
Florida GOP Gov. Rick Scott is resisting calls from state lawmakers to suspend Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel for the agency's handling of the school shooting in Parkland, saying he wants to "get the facts" before making a call on his future. "I think the right thing is to go through a very transparent, thorough process of investigation," Scott said
