At least some of those women had credible evidence (i.e. people who they mentioned it to contemporaneously). It's not so crazy to ask Trump to sit down for a similar interview.

To me the more annoying thing about this is that Tapper is really one of the more recognizable and powerful people in news media. Yet he acts like he's helpless. Why didn't he have them on? Why doesn't he have Reade on? He's one of the 5-10 most recognizable people in news media.
Politicians always do the same thing, complain about the system being broken and ask questions about why things weren't done, when they were in the position to actually help bring about the change they're claiming to want.
