SEC schools spend more money because they make more money. SEC fan support and TV revenue (viewership nationwide) is significantly higher as a conference. Fact is fans in the south, especially in the SEC states, support their teams at a higher level than fans anywhere else in the country. So, when you say that SEC schools spend more money, let's not forget that, as a conference, SEC schools also make more money and garner more viewers than any other conference. That's not a jab at any other conference. It's a statistical fact.

Somebody has to promote the ACC. He is just a contrarian. He is hired to stir up controversy and promote his favorite teams. Sports talk would not have clicks, views, and controversy without people like that however the facts are not on his side and he knows it.
