Have a friend that was on gunner ships when the Somali pirate stuff was going on. His stories of late night encounters with them are badass. Imagine a .50 cal mounted on a navy boat going up against wooden dingys with old arse rifles in hand

Which is exactly the point. They pose no real threat, so why escalate tensions? They just want the attention, and we are giving it to them. Just like a troll poster on TD, ignore them.

We knocked off one of their top commanders and they didn't do shite. We shouldn't even be debating this nonsense. I'm surprised this decision is even at the presidential level.
