I work at a school district in mississippi.. we did this 2 weeks ago for every kid (chromebooks)

This has been happening in public schools in Louisiana for years to no ill effect. If you actually cared your jimmys should have been rustled a while ago.

Probably didn't have much choice. Alot of people dont have access to a computer/laptop at home.
Kudos to the district for trying, probably a lose/lose situation either way.

I thought they were being donated.
I think they did it in St. Charles Parish too.

Seems like a good idea. They should try to get a laptop to every student though. It's easier to protect the students while online if they are on managed devices.

Pretty sure all public school districts are doing it.
