What the frick is up with this dude? There are very promising studies and survivor accounts that attribute the drug to saving their life.

80% of patients in India are being prescribed the drug. Can all of these docs be wrong?

Honestly, the studies so far are crap. They are. Doesn't mean hydroxychloroquine is not efficacious. It just has not been proven as such. That is what Fauci is grousing about. Actual decent controlled studies are underway. That is what Fauci is waiting on.

Thats the definition of "really triggered"?

Look. I'm a die hard republican that voted for Trump but that man,in that specific interview, responding as an official federal government representative gave an appropriate response.

Wow

The debate will start again in this thread about whether it will work or not.

It’s amusing as studies take time. I dare say anyone faced with the decision on whether to take it or not at this point in time would say hell yes, let’s give it a try.

Meanwhile, these same people yelling for more studies ignore the wealth of information that gender dysphoria can be cured with therapy. Instead, they side with the cut your dick off crowd that assures them this will be the cure.

The real reason is people got there hopes up during the Swine Flu about hydroxychloroquine and it’s didn’t quite pan out.

Anyone who gets CB and doesn’t request to try hydroxychloroquine zpack zinc cocktail is crazy, especially if there reasoning is they want to wait on better studies.

He trying to push the vaccine. He can’t admit that people are getting better because they are rushing the vaccine and there will be a huge push for everyone to get it before fall.

Dr. Fauci says “we don’t operate on how you feel.” I’m sure his feelings have had no insertion into his recommendations.

He's a freakin scientist and EVERYTHING has to be 100% precise data or it's wrong. There's no gray areas and there better in times like this.

Meanwhile it's a miracle drug to
the medical community in Italy,Spain and India.

He's a product of our federal medical bureaucracy complex which includes the NIH,CDC and FDA and they've been using a system that's been outdated for 40 years.

Let's face facts,ALL these institutions fricked up royally in the CV response and are now blaming China, each other or the administration.

NIH is supposed to recognize and detect these threats all over the globe before they reach our shores. Grade F

CDC is supposed to coordinate and control our response along with input from their global team. Grade D-

FDA (the worst)They are now delaying distilleries from making freakin ethanol HAND SANITIZER because of approval and inspection delays. Are you freakin kidding me?

I would really like a study across, say a 10 year period, before saying anything further.

I have been all aboard the "Let's roll out HQ to everyone and see what happens" train but I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed with some of the results. Spain is giving it to most patients and they're still dropping like flies.

Hopefully those were the people that didn't get it or were too far gone already, but I'm starting to lose hope that this thing is going to just go away.

Academic physicians are all about double blind RCTs. They are basically public health officials that think in terms of populations. Many of them think that medicine doesn’t exist outside of RCTs.

Front line clinical physicians are much more likely to assess the risks and benefits of something and give it a try based on case reports and their knowledge of human physiology. They think in terms of what can I do to help the patient I am taking care of today.

Not that double blind RCTs don’t have their place, but if we waited for them to verify everything nothing would get done.

Fauci’s kickbacks from pharmaceutical companies probably equal 10 years of most salaries here.
