Anyone who gets CB and doesn’t request to try hydroxychloroquine zpack zinc cocktail is crazy, especially if there reasoning is they want to wait on better studies.

Honestly, the studies so far are crap. They are. Doesn't mean hydroxychloroquine is not efficacious. It just has not been proven as such. That is what Fauci is grousing about. Actual decent controlled studies are underway. That is what Fauci is waiting on.

If I am on a vent screw your controlled studies....I don't have time. 98% of those who go on a vent, die. With Covid it is pretty much a death sentence...Try SOMETHING.
PS I am a Nurse,unlike Ingram.

Guys these are scientist who want to be sure the data is sufficient to even recommend its use. I know you guys wish Laura Ingrahm was your nurse but she isn’t a nurse and has zero medical background. We need controlled studies.

The critically ill patients are going to die without medical intervention, this drug combination seems to produce a positive outcome in critically ill cases. Do you believe just letting them die while waiting for controlled studies is the best thing to do?

He also did say use it. The FDA is not restricting it. Doctors can prescribe it if they want to.

He trying to push the vaccine. He can’t admit that people are getting better because they are rushing the vaccine and there will be a huge push for everyone to get it before fall.

Dr. Fauci says “we don’t operate on how you feel.” I’m sure his feelings have had no insertion into his recommendations.

This is his problem.

Any normal human can read a study.

It takes more than a retard to interpret it.

He’s been horrifically wrong this entire time. I have no idea why people feel the need to stick up for him at this point.

What in the hell has he offered?

Absolutely. What hold does this man have on everybody? I'm not impressed with titles, give me results.

I can completely understand this. However, I think a lot of frustration is coming from the complete lack of information regarding what they are doing. How hard would it be to say:

“Anecdotal reports from doctors are not sufficient for a widespread recommendation for treatment. However, the anecdotal reports are encouraging, and it’s something we can’t afford to ignore, so we are currently doing studies A, B, and C. We hope to have those results in X weeks, and that will give us the data that we need to make a scientific determination about this drug as a treatment. In the meantime, the FDA has approved it for off label use, and all doctors are free to prescribe it as a treatment.”

When every question is just completely brushed off like whoever asked it is a dumbass, it doesn’t instill a lot of confidence that they are taking it seriously.

Thats the definition of "really triggered"?

Look. I'm a die hard republican that voted for Trump but that man,in that specific interview, responding as an official federal government representative gave an appropriate response.

Wow

These people are idiots.

They just pull shite out of their arse.

Yes, but Fauci appears to be the one in charge here rather than Trump. That needs to change.

He's super intentional with his words which makes him difficult to interpret if you aren't used to listening/reading people who talk like him.

I agree, the data aren't great as it stands right now. We won't really know much of anything until well after the fact. Most critical care anecdotes I've heard (and these are guys I personally know, for the most part) aren't impressed with their results. Most of the NOLA guys I'm still in touch with don't see a big difference earlier on in the ones who got it vs different from what they've told me so far.

I guess they were right. Experience isn't something you can have until just after you need it.

Really, remove the guy that has been director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984, in the middle of a world wide pandemic?

He's a freakin scientist and EVERYTHING has to be 100% precise data or it's wrong. There's no gray areas and there better in times like this.

Meanwhile it's a miracle drug to
the medical community in Italy,Spain and India.

He's a product of our federal medical bureaucracy complex which includes the NIH,CDC and FDA and they've been using a system that's been outdated for 40 years.

Let's face facts,ALL these institutions fricked up royally in the CV response and are now blaming China, each other or the administration.

NIH is supposed to recognize and detect these threats all over the globe before they reach our shores. Grade F

CDC is supposed to coordinate and control our response along with input from their global team. Grade D-

FDA (the worst)They are now delaying distilleries from making freakin ethanol HAND SANITIZER because of approval and inspection delays. Are you freakin kidding me?

you can't have it both ways. if this is a crisis, then you don't have time for that.

if this is not a crisis, then sure. let's wait. and no more need for cornteen

under normal circumstances i would agree with you. this is not a normal circumstance

I would really like a study across, say a 10 year period, before saying anything further.
