Per Kay Ivey news conference.

I love how she blames the citizens that its come to this.

You give people the right to keep doing certain things and they are going to continue to do it.

It's her fault for not locking it down earlier.

Using the term shelter in place is asinine

Saban has lost control of his program and the people of Alabama. Having to give Apple watches to his players because he can’t trust them or his coaches.

Sad times.

100% guarantee people would’ve lost their shite if she did. And probably some business about MUH RIGHTS.

1454 people out of 4.8 million have tested positive.
38 people out of 4.8 million have died.

The mass unemployment from these reckless decisions will kill far more than coronavirus. I'm sure the models suggest that millions are about to die but they've yet to be even remotely accurate.

We get more authoritarianism from the government in our lives when people do not use common sense and use their freedoms responsibly.

It's that simple.

Nope, I said about three weeks ago we needed to lock down the whole country cause it was going to come to it eventually anyway. I can look up my post if you want.

It was going to come to this anyway, now we will have people out of work even longer cause we waited.

I say shut everything down that's not essential right now for a month.

After that we've done our best. Everyone back to work and what happens happens.

Same thread...

Why not? They are doing it slowly anyway. Which is just leading to more people getting it. Which is going to keep people out of work even longer in the long run.

Downvoted then, downvoted now.

Doesnt change the fact I was right.

Practically speaking, how is this really different from what we have? Everything is shut down. She was under pressure from the hysterical sky screamers in the media, and she caved.

Its really not. Its just them making it officially so people don't complain as much

They can fine you for not doing what they say I suppose. Or lock you up if it comes to that I guess.
