Rank you FAVORITE Tiger Teams (not necessarily best, but favorite)

I know we've done this type of list already, but I'm bored, so let's do it once again.
We probably all agree as to our #1 all-time favorite Tiger team, but let’s rank our #2 through #5:
2. 2011. Only an upset victory by Iowa State over Okie Lite kept this team from being considered one of the two greatest CFB teams of all time.
3. 1961. My sophomore year at LSU. Dietzel said this was the best team he coached. A season opening loss to Rice spoiled an otherwise great record. This team ended the season ranked #4 demolishing a good Colorado team in the Orange Bowl.
4. 1969. Although this team only finished #10 (it deserved higher!), everybody was anxious for the matchup with #1 Texas in the Cotton Bowl until ND cut in on that dance. This was an exciting team to watch.
5. 2003. Two wins over UGA and the victory over OU for the championship highlight this season.

1) 2019: who knew offense was fun?
2) 2011: my senior year of college. Broke my personal record for BAC at football games. My personal life was a bit of a shite show so I really Overly invested in that season. As bad as 1/9/12 was the rest was nothing short of magical.
3) 2007: championships are fun. Great offense too.
4)2010: another college year. We beat Bama at home. I’m overly sentimental from my student days. Ridley gets undersold when we talk about great LSU backs.
5. 2015: sure we crashed pretty hard but man, when LF7 was running wild it was amazing.

2019 - best team I’ve ever seen. Most enjoyable season.
2011 (pre-Jordan Jefferson return - I am not a JJ hater - he had his moments.) The 2011 season were some fun games. Honey Badger was the best defender I’ve ever seen. The offense was efficient. I think the offense regressed once JJ returned even though they kept winning until the January disaster. They won in spite of the offense and needed Tyrann to bail them out.
1985-86 Basketball. Great run to the final four. Was awesome to watch first two rounds of NCAA in the PMAC.

1982 was one of and might still be my favorite.
This was the year I fell in love with LSU football. Alan Risher, Dalton & James gang, Eric Martin, Herman Fontenot, Rydell Malancon, James Britt, Lifort Hobley, the names go on and on.

2000 was nice. Knowing Saban was for real after knocking off Tennessee and winning a bowl. Even Josh Booty won some games.

1. 2019
2. 2007- that team was fun as hell to watch and that season was just absolutely crazy. Not only is it one of my favorite LSU teams of all time but it’s probably my favorite college football season ever. That season is an example of what makes college football so entertaining
3. 2011- the domination from that team was so fun to watch and when you have playmakers on defense, it makes it even more fun to watch. Wish we could have won that last game but besides that one game, it was a hell of a season
4. 2003- this is when I started to really get into football was in 2003 (I was 6 years old), and it was just so awesome to finally see us win a natty
5. I’m going to go out on a limb and say the 2018 team. This was honestly when we started to see things turn around and us finally getting back to where we belong, competing with Bama in November for the West. I was just so happy to see us finally have what felt like a pretty good season. The beatdown on Georgia was a classic, Cole Tracy against Auburn, and how we finished the season against UCF in the Fiesta Bowl. After the Fiesta Bowl, we all knew that we were back on track to compete for a national title

I am partial to the 1997 football team.
It was my soph year at lsu, the florida game is still one of my favorite days as a tiger, and the season ended in my hometown spanking notre dame avenging the loss earlier that year

None of you guys are old enough to remember 1958?

For whatever reason that 69 team always sticks out to me. When LSU was not invited to play Texas but the Irish were I immediately hated Notre Dame. I believe LSU had the best defense in the nation that yr.

I remember it quite well. I was a junior in high school and attended several games in Tiger Stadium and the 62-0 beat down of Tulane in New Orleans. Nobody picked the Tigers to do well in 58 after the so-so 57 season. The 58 Tiger season with the Chinese Bandits was memorable.
