There is nothing wrong with self reflecting at all. In my opinion it is quite healthy, you just cant lose hope, this is the only life you got. We are all dealing with this shite, some argue, some joke but truth is, it sucks for all of us. So remember you are not alone. Keep your head up,think about changes you wanna make and make lists of how to achieve it.

Best of luck

Get off da arse and help out then. Go help some old people grocery shop.

Call a church tomorrow and ask how you can volunteer. We've been making meals for the 90 yr old couple next door. shite they can heat up and kill any viruses. We wipe down the throw away glad containers before we set it outside for them.

You can for sure do something. I guarantee it.

Snap out of it bro. God gave you a life and an instinct to survive. He didn't give you life to sit and piss it away feeling sorry for yourself.

I've laid in enough hospitals in my life to tell you there is more out there and it's worth it but you have to fricking find it.

You can do it, but you have to want to do it.

Fify. Nut the frick up.

Do a ton of push up

Hand stand push ups

Abs

Pistol squats

Learn something on khan academy

Ask a neighbor if you can pick something up from the store for them

Most importantly, read your Bible or download a Bible app. Jesus doesn’t make losers, but the world does.

Everyone has a purpose and guess what in life sometimes we go thru hard times.

You really need to find happiness within yourself.
How can you find friends if you cannot find happinesses in yourself?

Finding a woman.
Get out there after the virus make friends and you will find that girl for you.

Job
Not everyone has the skill set to be a doctor or nurse.
You can volunteer.
We all have different skills.
If you do not like what you do then make that change.

Let’s see
- been shot twice
- motorcycle accident on the job
- cancer and bone marrow transplant
Yes, sooner or later I will die.
If I wait for it I will never enjoy life.

I had a lot of great times also.

Again, going through the bad times will make you appreciate the simple things in life.

You should spend this time brushing up on some history and realize how many times we as a nation have thought we may be at an end. This is America and we always prevail.

I’d like to meet this person who gets to experience daily happiness, never knowing disappointment.

Pimp said it best, life is suffering. Whether it’s daily or few and far between, all humans face adversity. Those who find happiness aren’t on an unlimited supply. We build the pieces over time. What made us happy yesterday might not make us happy tomorrow so we adapt.

You can’t dwell on what causes you to suffer. You won’t fill that overnight and can’t put it on a timeline.

Also, don’t dismiss hobbies. You might see it as waste of time if you don’t have someone to share it with. I’d say it could be the beginning of a new path that leads to unexpected happiness.

Well now it's gotten worse. I've been furloughed as of April 18th. I get two more paychecks and then I'll have to file for unemployment.

I'm stuck at home, now furloughed, nothing to do, can't go to the beach or kayak because the beaches are closed, can't play tennis because no one wants to play. Can't go borrow some books because the library is closed. Can't even work out because all the stores are out of dumb bells.

I was trying my best to do better today but I'm struggling right now. I never thought I'd say this but I might need to call my therapist tonight. I'm not suicidal but I don't feel like I'm that far from it either.

If you have a library card you should be able to borrow books
Order a 50.00 kindle + download free books
Go to WalMart, get some pots, flowers & dirt & plant some flowers on your condo patio
Get yourself a chair, sit outside & read

Google different recipes or watch you tube cooking videos, go get ingredients & enjoy a new type of food

You tube workout videos & find a routine

Apply for a part time job, they are out there

If you sit & think about being miserable you are going to be miserable

ETA
If you really need to talk & can’t reach your therapist call 1-800-273-8255

You sound like you’re in shape. Can you easily pull tail on dating apps? If so you need to get in there and flirt with someone, man.

I’ve been going through a tough time as well relationship wise and just having someone to talk every day (that you are or will frick) can make a world of difference in your mental state.

Rescue a dog, take him out for runs, research new careers on the internet, start studying for one, read books online, watch movies online, do sit-ups , pushups, plank, do yoga videos, paint your living room, cook some new recipes, read the Bible... If you don’t feel like doing anything, make yourself do one tiny thing, you will go from there. Ever wish you could “pause” life and catch up? It just happened! What a great opportunity to picture the life you want, going forward, and begin making yourself into a person who could have that life! Lay the groundwork. Watch the movie THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS. Good luck!
