You're not alone in feeling this way. A lot of people are struggling with feelings of loneliness and stir craziness. Instead, use this experience, once it's over, to find out where the voids and holes are in your life and work on addressing them. It's a good thing to not have a family and children before you are emotionally and financially ready, but you are old enough now to take on that responsibility. Make goals to achieve what you want and work towards them. I'd hang out with you if I knew where you were and if there wasn't a pandemic lol

Imagine living in China right now. Not only does the government force you to quarantine but they will fricking kill you and your family if you're suspected of having the chinese virus..things could always be ALOT worse.

In case you are serious: this is going to pass, and odds are you and everyone you know is going to survive this. Just go hit Pornhub for a bit and it'll be alright.

It might pass but the world we all knew is gone. I never realized how much sports were a part of my life until this. Sports as we know it are probably gone.

I was out today and seeing everyone wearing gloves and masks, it was like I was in some sort of dystopian future movie. It honestly didn't even feel real.

I just don't think life will ever be the same and I'm not good at change. I've always said that to me quality of life is more important than quantity of life. Are we really going to have the same quality of life that we did?

Part of me has always thought that if the apocalypse occurred I didn't want to survive it. My dad is the opposite, he's all prepared for this with all sorts of canned goods, MRE's and guns. Me though, why live past the apocalypse when it's going to be nothing but pain and suffering? I don't know if this is the apocalypse but it is starting to feel like it.

Don’t worry about things you can’t control and make a decision to be better when this is over.

Go volunteer at a non-profit and start going to church.

No because other than work nothing is much different for me. I get bored for sure but it has me doing things I never would. I am out finding different places to walk while listening to podcasts. I go to the golf course way more and when not packed play a round. Even if I don’t play I just chill on the cart and have a beer while practicing putting. Luckily my family is nearby so I have seen them a ton lately. Will grill, boil, basically just hang out outside.

Basically just find a way to get out of the house when you can.

Volunteer to be a test subject. Let them infect you with the virus and then inject you with different "cures" until you either help save the world or you die...

Chill out bro, every bad situation is an opportunity or at worst a lesson and very worst a good story to tell. You will make it through this, try to see the positive and be strong during a difficult time, you will gain the respect of others as well as from yourself if you do.

Haha it is and it isn't. Beautiful no doubt but just a reminder of what I'll never have, lol.

Apathy is as bad as panic. You would do well to avoid both.

This comic strip might give you a more appealing perspective on this.

You're right. Why would anyone want to bring back something that's worth billions of dollars once this virus goes away...

ETA this isn't the apocalypse... its merely the early stages. Wait till the demons show up. That's when the real fun begins.

Quit complaining. Get a dog, some weights and/ or resistance bands and learn something to make you more useful and important at work.

No one enjoys this and certainly no one on the OT gives a shite. Quit bitching and do something about it.

If this is real, and I doubt it - your attitude is probably why you perceive that your life sucks.
