I'm sure Dan couldn't have imagined Jeff/Annie in the beginning.
For some reason the first time I watched the show, the Jeff/anie thing at then end of S1 had me completely floored
On the rewatch it’s much more obvious but when I originally watched it broke my brain

Jack black had a great cameo episode

I'm watching this right now on Hulu and I already know this is going to be unpopular but....I don't think I like it. I just finished the Jack Black episode so I'm halfway through season 1. For reference, The Office, Silicon Valley and Veep are probably my 3 favorite comedy shows. It's hard to explain but I know I'm watching a quality show but it's just not landing with me. It's just something that fills time during the lock down.

Season 1 starts off slow. Give it time. The Chicken Finger and Paintball episodes are towards the end of season 1.

Which one is the KFC space launch episode? That one is incredible.

I can’t believe they hired Britta to be the “hot girl” and Allison Brie to be the “nerd”. Truly amazing how they befuddled that casting and it still worked
Kinda the same dynamic as what happened with Friends.
Courtney Cox was supposed to the "the hot one" but Jennifer Anniston quickly became the most desired. So that started writing Monica in to a more quirky persona.
In two days I've watched all of season 1 and I'm about a 3rd of the way through season 2.
God I love this show. I watched it in season so now getting to binge it is magical. The continuity and long game story arc pieces are gold.
I just finished the bottle episode Cooperative Calligraphy where Annie's pen is missing and everyone is suspect.
The reveal at the end, and all the other items collected in that stash are great episode call backs.
Also, on second watch through I'm really appreciating Troy. His character is definitely my favorite. Every scene he's in is made better by it.

If you look closely you can see the monkey take the pen.

Almost done with Season 1. I can crush thru this so much quicker on Netflix
They really hit their stride toward episode 20-24. The first couple spoof on movies/troupes gave it a unique spin
There’s even the correct amount of Chang in the show.

I think for about the first 12-15 episodes of season one, they really play up Gillian Jacobs, and she is hotter than Brie, but it seems like right about that time, Harmon figured out what to do with Brie's character, and she flew right by Jacobs/Britta.

I never watched community but I always knew it had a huge following. I started it up this week and this show is hilarious. I'm only on episode 16 or so of season 1 & have to throw Troy and Abed's bromance in the mix as one of my favorites.
I'm a little happy I've never seen it before.. I've got a ton of content to watch working from home over the next 2-3 weeks.

Jeff:"Theres no Britta and Jeff."
Pierce:"He said, fully erect."
edit:Had no clue Justin Lin directed this episode.

I’ve been reading through the community wiki for each episode as I watch it here LINK
One of the most detailed wiki fan pages of any show. Keeps track of pretty much every joke and line/plot of the show
Lot of little things I’ve never caught before or references I didn’t catch

Their spoofs are the best in TV. The Law and Order one is great as well

The great pillow wars are awesome but nothing beats the paintball episodes.
