Almost broke down earlier and ordered Pizza Hut, but they fricked me on my 50% off coupon.
Its was a sign.
Covid free Red Baron for me.

I would take it out of its wrappers and heat it up in the microwave. Also wash hands before and after.

Had Chick-fil-A today. They are running an absolute streamlined machine in their drive-thru line.

The virus doesn’t live forever on surfaces. He can always just spray the plastic with alcohol before opening it too.
You don’t have the same control over someone who could be shedding the virus over your food.

I’ve been avoiding fast food since before SARS

As the parent of a special needs child who also has immunity issues, for 4 years, we’ve wipes down all groceries and take out with chlorox wipes until recently where we switched to hydrogen peroxide wipes which kills viruses, strep, and the vomit/diarrhoea causing stuff. Since this COVID-19 outbreak, we aren’t risking fast food. Even though the outside is wiped down, there’s no telling who coughed on that food. Hate away but not taking that chance for him to end up in the hospital.

Tbh, fast food kitchens are cleaner and safer than most other non-chain restaurants. They have corporate food safety and cleanliness standards that are much higher than those typically set by your local health department...and they’re inspected several times a year. If you’ll check the newspaper when they release health inspection reports you will rarely see a chain fast food restaurant listed

Popeyes drive thru around me is back to initial Chicken Sandwich mania levels.

Can this virus survive in Popeyes spicy chicken?

Coach O said to support Canes. Just went to Canes.

What are you eating then? You think the trucks that deliver groceries are squeaky clean?
Much less risk involved in eating packaged food you have to cook compared to someone sneezing in your Big Mac.

Everyone will get this virus and either get real sick, a little sick , or not sick at all. The flu is worse than this crap. I’m more sick of hearing about this pussy virus than anything and I work in a hospital. People are tired of having to dress out for every damn patient. This virus is being used for financial and political gain.

The estimated max time it can survive on plastic or steel is around 72 hours.
Potentially infectious for less.
And the clock touches when they touched it, not you getting it.
While getting it now can definitely be a risk, it is possible to mitigate if you didn’t stock up at all prior to it being common in your area.
shite you have in your pantry from last week isn’t going to get you sick.
A drive through attendant or cook who is just turning symptomatic might.
