Inflated. Misinterpreted. Misleading. Fake.

I trust NYC slightly more than I trust China

Interesting. Very interesting.

Brooklyn and Queens getting lit up compared to Manhattan and the Bronx. Wonder why that is.

Very interesting that NY's Chinatown (Lower East Side) has one of the lowest rates of positive tests.
With all the Russians living in Coney Island and southern Brooklyn, I'd bet Russia has cases originating from both China and this part of NYC.

I am well aware. The poorest (Bronx) and richest (Manhattan) parts of the city are getting hit least worst. It's an interesting pattern. Most of Queens is pretty middle class, and they seem to be getting it the worst of all.

What is even crazier is that 100% of the patients that tested positive for COVID-19 tested positive for COVID-19!

I was about to comment Staten Island and Manhattan doing noticeably better than Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens.

They actually have jobs that require them to leave the house.

It’s an odd dataset. It’s % of positive tests by neighborhood. But it’s not really apples/apples. Some neighborhoods test a lot more and the rate goes down even if they have more cases.

Percent of what is testing positive. Which patients? This makes no sense the way it is stated.

Yes, but do most Chinese Americans and Chinese nationals in NYC live in Manhattan or the other boroughs?
Edit: In fact Manhattan Chinese population is around 100,000. Brooklyn and Queens are each around 250,000. Estimated total in the city area is appx 890,000 out of a population of 8,000,000. Looks like 10%. Didn’t ever think of those kind of numbers and I’ve spent a lot of time in NYC.

It's interesting to see how London and New York compare when this is over. Both are similar in area size, with populations crammed next to each other.

Probably because you don’t have 10 people living in a 1 bedroom with grandma.
