Thank the good lord we have such a well educated and dedicated public servant to get us through the trials this city has faced.

From her brilliant and timely response to the Hard Rock disaster to her shining example of leadership after the Mardi Gras tragedies.

She was given the opportunity to show how phenomenal she is on CNN where she rightfully put the blame on Donald Blumpf for intentionally hiding information and refusing to cancel Mardi Gras. But she assured the nation that looking back if the proper information had transcended down to the local levels from the federal government and if we knew then what we should be knowing now and someone had to cancel Mardi Gras, she’s the leader who would have done it.

Please, I implore you, wherever you are today, take a moment and thank god and your fellow man for delivering us such an honest, intelligent, diligent, caring, qualified, and hard working Mayor.

Bobby Jindal was a very articulate and qualified governor for Louisiana and he was terrible.

Another incompetent politician.

Local governments love to blame the federal government when they screw up.

I'm guessing that she actually did use this phrase.

SWB is giving her all she can handle to hold onto that title.

At least he had that going for him. LaToya is inarticulate, terrible and a deadbeat when it comes to paying taxes.

Yeah, but at least he was good in a crisis during Katrina before he became governor. He probably became governor because people thought he was about the only leader who seemed to have a brain during that time. Then he became governor and the brain went bye bye.

She can sit there and lie all she wants, no Governor or New Orleans Mayor would have shut down Mardi Gras. If President Trump would have suggested it, they would have called him a dictator. Accused him of overreaching his authority and trying to incite panic.

She is a corrupt windbag. The city deserves her and her them. What was her Pandemic plan? All we can see is that she had one plan, blame Trump.

By the way, are they legs still hidden? This person's family must be livid by now. They will never get to recover or bury their loved one. I cannot believe they cannot remove him at this point.

Yes she did. But I cannot do her brilliant choice of phrasing any justice on a message board. You really have to hear it for yourself to get the full appreciation.

Please do not troll or lob insults in this thread. This is only for the highest of compliments for our unwavering illustrious beautiful gift of a mayor.

Unfortunately, she's as good as it gets for the Dem controlled City of New Orleans. NOLA has been under the control of Dems for over 50 years and it won't get any better in the future. They are a 4th world city that lacks even basic infrastructure such as reliable water.

Clearly you don’t understand. LaToya can not remediate the Hard Rock site because Trump has not told her to do so.
