I think the cost of living there is higher, so $2k may not or may equal the goods you can get here for $1,200. I believe two peeps here under the income limit woul.d get $2,400

Eh, the CAD is shite and has been shite against the USD for a while now.
That $2000 CAD comes out to around $1500 per month USD.
