Just drove by Webb. There were about ten people walking and playing.

I'll allow it.

Did you happen to notice if the pins were in?

Bigger question: can you do this at Santa Maria??

I looked for this. The only pin I saw that was in was number one. I was driving down Westdale.

He just bladed his approach to #2 across College Drive. Waiting for the light to change...

I've actually done that before. fricking ball rolled right through the opening to cross the road. Surprised I didn't hit a car.

I’ve done that on 6 coming back. My ball was sitting next to the shed by 7’s tee.

Awesome.

I'm probably headed that way myself right now.

With all the bullshite this virus has caused in my general life, I think I'm going to take advantage of some free golf.

I think as long as we fill our divots the best we can, we'll be able to walk for free. If the courses are cut up after 5 days, they'll shut us down.

Are they going to continue course maintenance, mowing greens, etc?

Now is the time to do minor upgrades and repairs.

So you just walked onto Webb and started playing for free? Awesome. Let us know if something changes. I wonder if this is the same at city park.

For now, the entire maintenance staff is still working at all BREC courses, unless a staff member wants to stay at home and self quarantine. Yes, walking is allowed at all the courses and yes, they are continuing to maintain and do projects during this down time. The only likely change is that hole locations will probably be moved only once a week and nobody is going to mow greens on Saturday and Sunday. They are giving the maintenance staff weekends off (which they never get otherwise). It's a good time to walk and play for free. As long as folks maintain social distancing and don't do anything stupid on the course, this will likely be in effect until at least April 13.

Never thought I'd say this but Webb's greens are in the same condition as Santa right now. Beaver still the best of the area but webb was enjoyable. No tee box markers but flags in...79 with a double on 18. I'm fat so walking is good for me

Hearing that walking golf on BREC courses will be free to the public. Courses will continue maintenance but clubhouses won't be staffed.

This is how it should be always

I was out there with a buddy today. It was peaceful and awesome. I had a rough day overall, had been playing stellar prior to that.

Overall enjoyed the hell out of today and I’m looking to do it more
