No one has these numbers, because of lack of testing. Saw a chart on Facebook last night that predicts 27,000,000 in the US will be infected by April 5. Forgot what the column said for deaths by then.

In reality, it's probably much lower since much more people are infected and either don't know or don't get tested. It is probably below 1% in reality.

I'm convinced I had this back in Feb. Doc tested for flu and strep came back negative. At the time, she said she'd seen a bunch of cases just like mine and said it was just a new bug going around. When this shitshow slows down, I'd love to know if I test positive for antibodies.

it doesnt fit the narrative for the unjustified panic and overblown reactions so they hide it and you have to search hard to find it anywhere in a report they put out.

they prefer to say shite like we only had 24 cases right now but we expect another 35k in a day or two, abny time you see that its not based on anything other then total made up BS to justify the over reactions

All the numbers and graphs being tossed around has me confused. I’ll admit it doesn’t take much to confuse me. Dies anyone have any hard numbers on the mortality rate for cv19?

The real answer? No one knows and no one will know until it all shakes out and we have a better understanding of how many were actually infected. Serologic testing is the only thing that will tell us the true fatality rate, and we won't be doing that for a while yet.

Heck, maybe it's negative. Covid 19 is saving lives.

The answer will come from smaller countries like Iceland or Singapore that are able to do comprehensive testing to get a pretty good idea of the actual number of infected (which includes a lot more people than just those with symptoms). When all is said and done, it will be less than .5%.

I don’t know about unreliable. I’d say it’s one of the few factual stats we have on the topic. Doesn’t mean it’s representative of what’s happening. It’s just what we’ve been able to measure. Everything else is just a guess regardless. I don’t think it should be used to fearmonger tho

Not even close to 1%.

When all said and done and can get good idea as to pervasiveness of infection.

It'll be 0.1% maybe less.
