Guys, i'm trying to like this game. I really am because I see a lot of potential. I have only been playing online and get extremely frustrated by the "slowness" of how everyone moves. It's not fluid like FIFA or Madden, it seems choppy. Is it like this for everyone?

Also, I cannot get the shooting down. I'm going like 2-14 from 3-point land with the Warriors. No matter what I do, I cannot figure out the timing.

I know if this continues, i'll just quit the game and go back to FIFA and COD, but I want to add a new game into the mix.

Anyone have any tips? Maybe I just should play career mode but I can't get into that. I feel more pride in beating a live opponent vs the computer.

They really fricked up the shooting mechanic.

The farther away you are the longer the meter/animation.

I get the less forgiving part, but the length bothers me.

I can't get a step back three, because the mechanic gives the defender time to eat a sandwich, then close in on me and in doing so, increase the difficulty of the shot

Everything about the game is frustrating

This was by design and for the life of me idk why they went this route.

Also by design I have a love/hate relationship with it. Sometimes it feels realistic, other times it’s a huge annoyance and penalizes users taking long shots. As someone who played a lot of H2H, it’s easiest to win by spamming the paints and forcing doubles than taking 3s.

I’m just using it to live stream the NCAA March Madness with friends. We loaded NCAA teams and all filled out brackets. Games streaming over twitch. Has been a good way to pass the time.

2K19 is not without its issues, but it’s a better game than 20.

The movement in 20 is so damn slow and clunky. It’s night and day with it and 19 being so much smoother and faster.

I always go back to the park in 19.

Create a MyPlayer instead of just playing random online games.

Don't feel bad, I am having the same issue. Seems like i only make shots if I ever hit green. And sometimes I hit them when they are way off on timing. I think it's almost geared to make more shots off screens.

I am trying to like this game, but it's hard as frick to level up. Online games in the park are almost impossible to get unless your player is black and rated in the 90's. Serious shite, I have seen the proof. Go look on reddit.

I have ended up with a 6'8 shooting forward who scores 98% of his points in the paint posting up like a damn center. I am almost at a point where I am about to give this game up.
