Not saying he was the best but my son and I saw Jay Cutler when Vandy came to town, and he was truly special. Def the best QB in the SEC that year...

Charles White. To this day, he still claims that the most physical game he ever played in, whether college or pro, was against LSU.

Curious... did Herschel Walker ever come to BR??
LSU never played Bo, Herschel or Payton, home or away.

We countered nicely in those years with Michael Brooks who is still imho the GOAT.

Darren McFadden single handedly beat a national championship team. So him.

I watched Tim Couch absolutely embarrass LSU for 4 quarters. I’m sure there has been other outstanding performances, but that one takes the cake for me. I vote for Tim Couch.

That was a three-headed monster.
Darren McFadden: 32 carries, 206 yards, 3 touchdowns, long of 73 (avg. 6.4)
Peyton Hillis: 11 carries, 89 yards, 2 touchdowns, long of 65 (avg.8.1)
Felix Jones 9 carries, 85 yards, 0 touchdowns, long of 31 (avg. 9.4)
Oh yeah, McFadden was 3/6 passing for 34 yards and 1 td.

Champ Bailey was on that Quincy Carter Georgia team too I believe.

Due to the way that the SEC rotates teams there are many great players that never played in tiger stadium....its such a backwards system I cant believe that we still use it....I think the conference was better when it was smaller....
I just hope that this virus does not ruin the start of football season....

I’ll go with Charles White. That was a great game

Shaun Alexander had the best game by a visitor I've ever seen at Tiger Stadium. And he started because of an injury

Steve Spurrier. I watched that game from the upper south. He played with us like a cat does with a mouse.
Also, Jay Cutler and Darren McFadden.

Steve Spurrier. Wiped us out in a hurricane delayed game.

Shaun Alexander has the best game ever. I would say Emmit Smith was the best overall player.
