If people saved wisely and lived within their means, no one would need a stimulus check. I damn sure don't need one and I'm not "OT rich".
ETA: I won't be getting one and I believe that a lot of people will be getting them that don't MEED them.

Honestly, who is going to run this and verify it all? Especially when we are all supposed to be "social distancing." Cheaper to just give it to everyone based on tax return data that has already been collected than to try to police it based on need.
