Don’t give it to Individuals. Give it to Small Business which make up 99% of all business in the US. Bars, Restaurants, Travel Agency’s and Small retail are going to get Crushed. Prayers up for Small Business.

You’re a free enterprise, take out loans. No one forced people into business in these areas. They knew or should’ve known the risks. Our President and Our Treasury Secretary know what they’re doing.

Small businesses also hire a shite ton of illegals too.
Just sayin'

He is giving it to the rich in the form of tax cuts (again) $500 billion, and the airline industry, nothing for the middle class or non working class low income individuals effected during this crisis. Once again Trump only cares about giving tax breaks to billionaires while the rest of us suffer.

There is literally nothing Trump could do right now that wouldnt get hate is there?

I agree but don't know how he can do that easily. I think cash transfer may allow small businesses to see a good amount of the money - as long as they are allowed to operate that relatively soon that is.

And no one forced people to work there with you logic . People get money they spend , small or large companies get money they spend too . It is a no win situation we’re in as all go down or all go up . Continuing to add to the trillions in the red is not a correct choice as it was not correct in 08 or any other year . We flood people money in one form or another to the point of 80% of revenue yearly now . Wean the masses now .

The airlines have been nickel and diming us forever. Definitely don’t bail out those assholes.

So now a restaurant owner should also be a infectious disease expert?

Employed Americans are pathetic for not being to afford mortgages, bills, and everything else for a month, but there is zero expectation for businesses to be anything but extremely fragile and unable to weather anything? Why is one not ok but the other is?

small businesses don't deserve it anymore than individuals do. At least this way it gets to all the people instead of just small business owners. I don't get your logic other than that you must be a small business owner

All the way off you should frick.

Agreed. What I am saying and obviously did not make my point very well is The House Bill is taking care of individuals with work Insurance. Big Business will be bailed out for sure. If there is any extra left send it to small business IMO. Small business has a butterfly effect and was making a comeback.

bullshite.
The 2008 bailout did nothing to help regular folks. This is not a banking/financial crisis. This is a people crisis.

Have you been paying attention at all?

Why does it have to be one or the other?
In reality, some people will lose their jobs, some will be retained. In both situations, employers are burdened by revenue being dried up.
My employer is currently faced with a 4/15 deadline imposed by the federal government that hasn’t (officially) been moved and a mandate to not congregate 50+ people. They lose in either situation.
I am a partner in a small business startup and have one employee. We cannot make sales calls and don’t have prospects for revenue at the moment because our customers are essential personnel only. We simply don’t have enough cash to pay our employee indefinitely, it wasn’t budgeted. If we lay the dude off, he won’t be able to find work right now. I’d rather run out of money paying him than to put him on the street, but both may end up happening.
It’s simply a shitty situation for all involved.
