Yea, I don't know why I was expecting that you would be able to visit a random island. This new "feature" makes no sense.
I think, if you haven't already, that everyone will get a free piece of gold with the first rock you mine since the update. I ended up getting a gold piece and a DIY recipe for King Tut's mask. I think it's their way of introducing the new tripping mechanic.

Nice. Haven't seen the mask and don't hit rocks too often. I'm waiting for my next villager search. Snake asked to leave a couple of days ago but I kinda like him so I told him to stay. How many days are between them asking to leave? I'm hoping for Tammy or Pinky to ask next.

5 days before another villager will ask to leave. If a villager does leave, it's 15 days before another will ask.

Keaton asked to leave, so I let him. I like him but it's past time for a change. Hes officially gone as of today so we're going villager hunting tonight. Haven't had a snooty one yet on the island so hopefully we'll find one that doesn't suck or take 100 trips to find.

Hans finally left and went villager hunting for a while, but all the ones I ran into sucked. And today the property has been sold.

You have to have a dream code to go visit another island. If I'm going thru the trouble why wouldn't I just go there like we already do?
Because the owner of the island doesn’t have to be there. You can just go on their island and explore, but you’re not allowed to take or give anything to it. It will allow those people with really badass islands to let anyone explore it.

Just visited some persons island in a dream. Apparently if they put out tools and stuff and then create the dream you can harvest stuff within it.

The ability to download their custom designs is cool at least. But unfortunately Nintendo still hasn't expanded the custom slots.

Anybody got the blue/white surfboard as their island surfboard in the shop? I just realized it's my last one I'm missing.

Thanks GILL fam! I appreciate it! Mikes list is definitely helpful for cataloging. I wasn’t aware of the seasonal items in the book terminal until a few weeks ago with the bamboo grass and I got the horse springy ride on today. Were there other noteworthy ones I maybe missed?
