Talk about overpaid...
Three-years, $30M with $18M guaranteed for Jamie Collins, who was one of the most impactful defensive players in football early on last season.

First couple days of free agency is usually where all the overpaid guys are. Im dumbfounded graham got 16 mil after what he has done the last few years...wouldve thought he would have gotten maybe half that.

Amari Cooper intends to re-sign with the Dallas Cowboys on a 5-year, $100 million deal LINK

Saints close to finalizing a deal with Drew. Could be done as soon as tomorrow.

Saints are in very good shape they should get a deal done with Drew and Vonn Bell then sit back until the 2nd tier guys start to sign and look for solid value deals. We really don’t have many holes to plug besides a WR2 and I think that’s absolutely coming from the draft. I’d ask Kiko Alonso and Janoris Jenkins to restructure their deals or take a pay cut in hopes of keeping them. If healthy a LB unit of Davis, Anzalone and Alonzo is a very good group. Then all you need to do is find a replacement for Peat if Cameron Tom isn’t already that guy (Easton will be cut to save $4 million). Use the draft to find a WR and improve depth.

If we not resigning Peat, cutting EASTON would be the stupidest move ever. His contract for next year is as a lower tier starter and he played good the few games he started. We probably beat Minny in the playoffs if he starts over Peat. At worse he’s a great 6th lineman that can start at guard or center.

CB Fuller and LB Martinez off the market. Everyone is going so fast.

This is very true, but I think it would be very irresponsible to go into training camp with Anzalone & Kiko as the #2/#3 LB. If both of them can't get healthy...we're completely screwed.
We really need another legit LB very bad. High draft pick or vet F.A.
#1 - Demario
#2 - NEW LB
#3 - Anzalone
#4 - Kiko - restructure
#5 - Robertson
#6 - Kaden Elliss

Two of those guys can’t stay on the field.
We desperately need another LB and another WR.
Fortunately this is a deep class for WR.

And kiko is not worth his contract.

No chance this happens

This is a deep FA class at LB too. And MLB are easy to find

At least we'd get a first rounder out of it, right?

We would get a 1st rounder & also save 4.641 mil in cap space.
It would suck to lose Taysom, but we would be getting some nice stuff in return.

Not worth it... I know I don't have to tell anyone on this board everything he does for this team. It's beyond just quarterbacking

I agree 100%. The problem is that if someone offers him a nice size contract, then there is no way we can match it.
We've already made our move with Taysom. It's really out of our hands from here on out. If someone wants him enough...they'll get him.
