Rewatching "The Run"

I have rewatched our games with Alabama, Oklahoma, and Clemson at least three times each. For some reason I had deleted the UGA game so I re-taped it yesterday and watched it again.
We simply beat the shite out of everyone.
I remember my parents who went through a depression and learned to save everything from buttons to newspapers to thread to jars and bottles.
Us old folks are reliving these games as much as possible as we'll never see another run like this for LSU nor another QB like Joe Burrow.
You young punks might, but I doubt it.

Joe Burrow is a once in a lifetime player and leader. We will never see someone of that stature at LSU ever again. He’s our version of Tim Tebow. Those guys don’t walk through the door very often.

It was really this incredible season, so much I doubt you'll see a repeat.
Team got stronger, healthier, more confident as the season progressed. From the Bama game on, LSU was the most dominant team I've seen in the modern era.

I agree..what we witnessed this past season only occurs once or twice in a lifetime. I’m glad We got to witness such a season.

This was the most satisfying LSU season that I have seen since '58.

Well said, my Boomer commrade.
Spoken like Don Fanucci in Godfather 2 where he told young punks like Vito Corleone to show respect.

I really thought this was going to be about the CEH run around mid field where he should have been stopped for 4th and seven but willed his way to a first down.
Incredible "run" which if he doesn't get the first we are punting to Alabama down six points. I'd like to think the defense would have stepped up but Alabama was on fire and would have had all the momentum at that point.

Texas seemed closer than Bama, Florida or Auburn.

Tim Tebow? LOL. Tebow couldn’t carry Burrow’s jock.

I watch Alabama, Oklahoma, UGA and Clemson weekly.
I also watch Texas, A&M and UF.
All were great games.

Wasn’t this the one where he also made a shoe string catch because Joe threw it while getting pummeled on a blitz?

I’m still trying to figure out how we went from losing 29-0 to National Champions in 14 months.

Thinking he meant once we got healthy
