On your next update can you add the number of flu deaths? It seems to me this is a bigger epidemic (the flu) that the media is covering up and keeping secret.
If you think this cancellation crisis is premature, do your own research and find out how many people have already been killed by the flu! It is shocking.
After reading those statistics I went out and bought 500 rolls of tp and 3 cases of hand sanitizer.
I forgot the canned food but am to afraid to go outside to get some.
Can someone respond so that I will know there are other survivors and that I am not all alone.
After everyone is dead how long will it be before it is safe to go outside again?

The Georgia tracker includes age, so far it is half are under 50 and half are over 50.
Another neat stat is it's 65% men 35% women

Oh look, pretty graphs and some stat tables.
We need more testing! Must have more testing!
The world needs graphs like never before!

quote:I don't have one for the country, but NJ is doing a good job of reporting details on its cases:
Yes, that would be helpful as would the age of the fatal cases.
cases by county in NJ
Of course within an hour of this being posted the number of cases jumped from 29 to 50.

Bro Cases are going to go up...
I mean they just are realistically.
Tomorrow, next week, April they’ll go up. It just needs to be mitigated at this point.
Recoveries are going to start sky rocketing as more people get tested because a lot of oeople most likely have it now but they don’t even know it.

Wait? I'm supposed to believe that since Jan 21st, there have been only 31 recoveries??
I'm sorry, but I dont believe you

Maybe you should have given a frick about whether that data was accurate or not, BEFORE you posted it

Thanks for putting these charts & graph together.
My biggest takeaway from your data is that in the last week the mortality rate has been cut in half. As more people are tested I expect that trend to continue.
Of the 48 deaths, 23 of them occurred at one long-term care geriatric facility in Washington state.

The linked chart has several interesting sorting features. Going through the from left to right for USA's rank, followed by USA's percentage vs. the No. 1 country for each category, this is what I came up with:
Total cases: 8th (2% vs China)
New Cases: 6th (20% vs Italy)
Total Deaths: 7th (1.5% vs China)
New Deaths: 5th (3% vs Italy)
Total Recovered 14th (0.0005% vs China)
Total Active: 8th (15% of China)
Critical: 11th (0.0025% vs China)
And to me the most interesting figure:
Total Cases per 1 M Population: 36th (2% vs Italy; 12.2% vs China at 13th place).
My math may be fricked up and statistically misleading, what have you, but it does seem to provide perspective.

No one as updated recovery stats. With your logic we shouldn’t look at any data because that one stat is not being updated currently. That doesn’t make sense.

Where’s that idiot claiming 3.4% mortality!
Posted on 3/13/20 at 7:25 pm to tigerfan0082
Thats the ONE STAT that everyone wants, How likely, and how long until I could recover?
Doncha think?

America is a country that is in the same zone as Italy. That our cases will double every 2 days.
Posted on 3/13/20 at 9:51 pm to Chromdome35
I updated the statistics as of 9:45pm 3/13/20
Posted on 3/13/20 at 9:56 pm to Chromdome35
Today was our worst day so far in total cases and deaths
