Great post,as usual.Except for the tilapia,I can’t bring myself to eat it after I read how it is raised in those Asian countries.Viet Nam raises a lot of it- in sewer ditches. Also they raise chickens in cages suspended above ponds with tilapia in the water.
I enjoyed tilapia before I read all this.Remeber the saying:Ignorance is bliss.

I may one day share my tilapia recipe that will have all the naysayers become tilapians.

Apparently you’re at a higher risk of catching covid 19 if you eat tilapia.

Maybe not. From Faire (French)-to do, or to make. Distinctively New Orleans respecting groceries. As in "I took my Mom to Dorignac's to make groceries." However, given TulaneLSU's well documented difficulties with Bucktown Shrimper Captain Mike, and TulaneLSU's distinctively Uptown sensibilities, I agree that a sentence like "I went by my Momma's after I made groceries to wash my hands in her zinc because I got earl on them at the gas station." does not seem to readily and easily spring from the TulaneLSU tongue or naturally reside in his lexicon.

But, I could be wrong. I think assholy might be a stretch. If anything, his use of the idiom strikes me as a pleasant, well intended social condescension to assist in his mingling with us plebeians.

I’m in Sams right now (Saturday 8am for the plus membership opening) just to witness it. All I can say is I’m glad I did my shopping yesterday and that I am getting out of here now.

I see bottled water in your basket. I thought you were going with the rain barrel full of SWBNO water?
