The beach, cold beer, and salty oysters will cure all illness! Get your Beach vacation in while everyone goes into seclusion.

Strong rumors that the infirmary has it as well.

Rumors all around that people are in hospitals all over the state with symptoms but can’t get tested. Some is probably just the rumor mill, but a few have been confirmed.

I keep hearing this but no announcements. I’m assuming they are coming tomorrow. Then the mass cancellation of schools/daycares shortly thereafter.

I meant the reports of not being tested have been confirmed, not positive test results.

Not Alabama, but there was a doctor in BR that works at OLOL who flat out said you're not getting tested unless you're an in-patient at a hospital and showing severe symptoms...said walk ups are not getting tested as of now and they're several days away from mass testing

Oh yeah. My bad. It’s been pretty sad watching our local news keep reporting that there aren’t any cases yet without also reporting that we weren’t able to test for it until yesterday.

I’ve got a mental image of the Gumps in the Alabama State Health Department on a conference call with their Mississippi counterparts and doing the Yellowhammer cheer to them about the Corony.

“We just beat the hell out of your case numbers!”

Didn’t announce it on the news, everyone here in Springhill already knows as all medical people thought it was ok to talk about it because it was going to be announced tonight. I guess someone thinks better to wait a day but frick it, yes it’s at the infirmary.

Thats exactly what should happen. There is absolutely no point to getting tested unless you are severely ill. There are no drugs to for it like tamiflu and xofluza for the flu to shorten it, and its a virus so there is no cure. Go home and treat with OTC meds
