Ralph Sampson allowed to roam the perimeter in the modern game would have been amazing. He was always forced back inside by his coaches and wasn't allowed to play the perimeter, where his body eventually betrayed him from the relentless physicality. He was so far ahead of his time, and there's no telling how his career goes if he plays under modern rules. I would love to see Garnett v. Sampson at their peak in the best environment for their skills. We were robbed of Sampson.
