New Oklahoma Visit Entry - Caleb Williams SI Blog

He and his family sound pretty impressed with the visit. Lincoln Riley is very much pulling out all the stops to get Caleb. After reading this, it definitely confirms my suspicions that Lincoln wanted Caleb all along, and may have told Brock Vandagriff to explore his options while he was originally committed to OU. Lincoln wants Caleb badly, and it seems that their visit may have pushed OU a little higher over LSU. We'll know more after Caleb visits Baton Rouge again.
His father says they will definitely return to Oklahoma in the future.

his new twitter pic is of his mom and Lincoln Riley hugging and smiling. I think our window is closing VERY quickly.

Coach O should show him the replay of the game vs OU on his visit.

I wouldn't read too much into that. He cycles his social media profile pictures every time he goes on a visit. He used to have an LSU, Clemson, and Penn State one, all right after those visits.
But look, if Garrett Nussmeier wants to commit soon, I would gladly take him. In fact, I would much rather secure Nuss and see if Caleb actually wants to come compete here, than wait for Caleb to make a decision before accepting Nuss. Nuss is quite a bit more developed as a pure passer than Caleb, while Caleb actually very much fits the mold of an Oklahoma QB that Lincoln would love to get his hands on. I don't mean that as me giving up on Caleb, but rather as an objective fit for both teams. Compare his skills with the past OU QB recruits, then compare Nuss' skills to Myles Brennan and Joe Burrow.

I absolutely agree with all of that. I figured a change in social media was coming after the visit but I took a bit more notice of that one.

Of the kid wants to go to OU and get embarrassed in the playoffs when they actually face some real competition, then that’s on him. OU is a joke of a program in a Joke conference

Yeah but that's only because of their defense. Their offensive scheme is great.

There is no chance in hell that lincoln riley processed brock vandagriff. That is an insane suggestion.

Hurts hampered the offense. He just can't throw the ball effectively. When they had elite talents at QB (Mayfield, Murray), they were unstoppable. Caleb Williams fits the bill.

he's upset over something I said on a different post over a week ago. he needs to learn that you have to have short term memory loss as a sports fan. he now discredits all the information that I present because he got his feelings hurt. pay no mind to him, he isn't worth your time.
multiple times now has he called me out as "the shittiest poster on this site" or that I "suck as a poster", just because I don't share the same opinions as him. read through his previous posts, all he does is bitch and complain.

Are those the years they won the national championships?

Perhaps the dumbest thing ever posted on this board. And that’s saying a lot

He’s a race bailing idiot who fancies himself a recruiting analyst because he stalks teenagers on social media.

Would take balls of steel to tell a 5 star commit to kick rocks because you think you will get a commitment from another 5 star.
Not even remotely feasible.

hey idiot, like I said before (but I guess you can't read being that you didn't understand it the first time), I worked in D1 Football Recruiting for MULTIPLE YEARS and was on a University Payroll for it. To go so far as to discredit me just because of what you THINK you know is ludicrous. Would you like me to dig up my old pay stubs and my old emails with recruiting directors?
you are acting like a petulant child. remove yourself from the board since it seems that no one here agrees with you nor cares for what you have to say. provide up-to-date information about the state of the football program as well as recruiting, and then we'll talk about you maybe upgrading from a child to a preteen.

As expected for any 5*.

Trading one dual threat 5* for another with one being committed to his home state. What were your suspicions?

Imagine that right after a visit he's high on said team.

If we could just get away from the petty fighting on these posts that would be great
