Two hairstyles I wish would never have become popular, the Mullet and that whole Top Knot thing where younger guys are walking around with what looks like a doorknob size wad of hair on the crown of their head.

Try the "Balboa' as it was known by me back in the 60's.
Cut like a flat-top but kept the side long enough to be combed back. I heard in other parts of the country that style was known as "The 57' Chevy" because of the wings on the ends of the back fenders.
