This has left me shaken, but not stirred enough to overreact.

I’ve read that studios are considering holding other films back along these lines. Black Widow, Trolls: World Tour, abd Fast and Furious 9 are the big ones that might be pushed back

Well, you have to think people are being overcautious and I would rather people be that than not giving a frick. I’m not sure moving films back is all that necessary here in the states. Actually, big conferences and music festivals would be more of a problem.

But we aren’t the only places showing these movies and in other parts of the world, corona is more of a problem currently than over here. Companies don’t want to miss out on that overseas money.

Studios need that China money.

Yep...which is why movies that are currently being filmed could be halted by this virus.

Filming on the new Mission Impossible in Italy was stopped due to coronavirus. I imagine that could affect the release date.

My company has cancelled all kinds of events. It is absolutely ridiculous.

Although hopefully they force us to work from home soon.

You and many in this thread have your heads in the sand.

Repubs just went from scoffing at Dems wanting more money put in to fight this to increasing funding from $2.5 billion to $8.3 billion in less than a week after their briefings with scientists. You don't get that kind of political shift in that amount of time over something that isn't a big deal.

First thought when hearing this was they're using this to do reshoots and reediting and this is a cover. Second thought was I hope Tenet doesn't move.

This one has had problems. I wonder though who is taking Craig's place after this. I've heard it is Henry Cavill's to turn down.

Am I the only one who appreciates that a movie called No Time to Die is delayed because of the hysteria around a deadly virus?

Is it ridiculous? For the average American it doesn’t pose much of a threat but for elderly and people with auto immune diseases or supressed immune systems, this is a very real thing, a thing that can be spread pretty easily and big events and conferences can be rescheduled.

People have actually died from this so try to have some empathy. Just because corona might not kill you doesn’t mean you can’t pass it on to someone it could kill. Think about someone else other than yourself for once
