Former Arizona St Punter Michael Turk threw up 25 reps on the bench at the Combine. Has there ever been a full-time punter this strong before?

DGAF, its all about how far and accurate he can kick, no one GAD what he bench presses

I mean obviously it has literally no effect on how he performs on the field but it is interesting and surprising given that punters and kickers are usually seen as the weakest and least athletic guys on a football field. This is one punter who can actually make a big tackle on a returner.

I want to say Donnie Jones from LSU benched almost 500 in college
I don't know if he participated in the combine. I'm guessing not since google doesn't return anything

Reggie Roby for the Dolphins was a big guy, IIRC

Didn't one of the Bronco's punters become a strength coach when he retired?
ETA. Rick Tuten.

Ray Guy likely never did that but he was extremely athletic

I know a guy who punted for a FCS school that became a professional bodybuilder.

I think it's still this guy from the kick pass punt competition

Had a punter do 30 reps last year

Who cares what he can bench, how much can he squat or leg press? Don’t kick with your upper body.

Who cares about any weights. How can you punt...

You got your Tutens mixed up.
Rick Tuten was a strong as hell punter (never punted for Denver IIRC), Rich Tuten was the Broncos strength coach.

Andy Reid was like a 19 year old against 9 year olds. It was awesome.
