I meant Mathis’ first year here

Why should I care? Especially when you’re arguing for arguing sake in the same thread.

I’m pointing out pertinent points. At this point you’re just looking for the slightest error without any care for the spirit of the debate

I’ve seen no evidence that Mathis is the team leader. I’ve seen more leadership from Garza and Cabrera than Mathis.

I agree. From what I’ve seen Beloso is likely the heart and soul of this team

He doesn’t know anything about baseball to actually talk about baseball
Just that everything Paul Mainieri does is always right.

Maybe I should have said “spark plug”. I do like Beloso’s enthusiasm. But there really isn’t a lot of experience out there. Who has started for LSU for 3 years? 2 years?

Oh, I absolutely was. I can be an obnoxious, arrogant, dick in real life. It comes out even more on here.

Very wrong
I can disagree with the guy without fricking lying about him

Again, why should I care? If you think my posts are out of line RA my posts, okay?

Dude calm the frick down. No one is saying you’re out of line. But if you want to be a fricking dickhead then go ahead. Do you.

Cabrera and Hughes have started for 2 years..they are in their 3rd now
And Beloso and Garza have started 1 year..now starting 2nd

Then I misunderstood the question. I was listing guys in their 2nd and 3rd year

I really liked Mathis leading off and Cabrera in the 3-hole. I also liked Cranford getting the nod at SS. It is going to take alot of experimenting to find the right combo with this group, but the potential is certainly there.
this! all of the whining after one fricking week is disgusting. this is the time of year to EXPERIMENT. we have 3rd base looking good with Mathis and Cranford will be an upgrade over Hughes (I hope his glove makes it). so we are uncertain at 2nd and CF. we certainly have the talent to find someone there.
I think this team will be fine given the time to settle in and gel. esp. if we can find some leaders on the team.
all of this bullshite and fire PM bitching is just ignorance when it comes to college baseball. this team needs to be rebuilt on the diamond and at the plate. we need some patience. the talent is there

You getting angry at one of the few people that don’t think you’re a clown is funny lol

2 years?
Posted on 2/22/20 at 7:48 pm to CottonWasKing
I wasn’t clear I guess sorry...but my point is that we only have a couple players who have started at least 2 years.

Anytime you have pitching that is capable of dominating games, you have a chance to win. Even not hitting, you'll be in almost every single game. It appears we certainly have a staff capable of doing that. Do we need to improve hitting? Absolutely. I'm hoping the bats get going at some point. If they do, the sky is the limit.
