In the exercise you are quoting, is 2018 SR Antoine Duplesis worth the same as 2019 SR Aaron George?
That's a valid question, but answer mine.

If I remember right... your saying 2009 and 2017 are the only 2 years that are in front of this team. As far as veterans go. Correct?
Read the linked post from project. That's what I'm referencing.

stated a fact, and no matter what anybody says that fact stands.
You stated data. And while data is always factual it is often misleading without being presented in the appropriate context. There’s only one pitcher on the field at any given time. Meanwhile there are 8 other players behind him. At least least 4 of which are underclassmen or first year starters on the best of days. Most days lately we’ve been
looking at either 6 or 7 players.
“Facts” don’t always tell the whole story.

Great deflection. Who’s in charge of recruiting at a once national power??? Fire Pawl. Baseball has been stale for years now. Stop being homers and wake up.

It's still a fact, at the end of the day. That's all I was saying. Lester's point is very valid, when asking if a Sr Duplantis is equal to a Sr George.

And I would say no, it’s not. Because the data sucks.
You know you wouldn’t repeat that shite to anyone’s face who knows how this team is constructed.

But that “fact” is useless without the clarifying data behind it. That’s all I was saying

Data like you’re talking about doesn’t tell nearly the entire story. Hell..there are people who post data that they think means you should NEVER EVER bunt in baseball.
This team simply plays a lot of freshman and sophomores ...far from veteran. Hell ...Mathis a freshman is probably the leader of the team.

You can not agree with the data, or say the data doesn't tell the whole story. But a fact is a fact, even if you say it's not.

Mathis isn't a freshman buddy.

You keep saying a fact is a fact but it’s not worth a damn unless it tells the story and this one does not. It’s a worthless aberration in the statistics.

It tells a story. Just maybe not the entire one. Don't think it's a veteran pitching staff?

But both data and facts are nothing without being analyzed and studied. They are just tools to help one find a solution. By themselves they are worthless. It may be a fact that your fingerprints were on a murder weapon...but it doesn’t mean you were the murderer.

Of course it’s a veteran pitching staff no one is denying that and no one is arguing that when they say it’s a young team. It’s pretty understood that everyone is talking about the hitting and the fielding
And it tells A story but it doesn’t tell THE story

Yes or no?
Aaron George wasn’t a senior in 2019. He was a junior.
