What’s your diet like?

Morning is some kind of organic cereal or two or three eggs cooked in EVOO with a pinch of salt, whole grain seeded toast. Those are usually my only two options in the morning.

Lunch is whatever was cooked for dinner the night before.

Dinner is usually brown lentils and rice cooked with onions, carrots, a little bit of slap ya mama and chicken stock. Yesterday night and tonight we had scalloped white potatoes, green bell peppers, boneless skinless chicken breast and pasta. We don't eat hardly any meat other than boneless skinless chicken breast and an occasional pork chop.

Eat maybe one apple or satsuma per day. Got a snacky sweet tooth, though. The organic gummy bears that are supposed to be for the kids when we're on the road and Lemonheads are my weakness.

Not really. I but from Sam's in bulk.

I eat very similar things everyday. We send about 200 per week at Sam's for family if 6, 3 adults. Nothing crazy.

I mean that's 5 lbs or so of some kind of steak
The pack of ground turkey that it's 5 lbs

Big pack of chicken breast, maybe $60 when you meat. Rest of the family doesn't like to eat like nee.

Even if I was trying to gain weight, I while just choose leaner cuts of meat and add rice.

And why would I need a private chef. I prepped everything pretty much on Sunday in less than 3 hours and again on Wednesday. Raise nee, you aren't busier than me, just make it a priority.

That is about as simple of a meal plan as you could get.

frick you, too.

I’m all seriousness. We do get a bad rap. Sometimes rightfully so but some of us actually know what we’re doing and aren’t bad folk.

They may be your weakness, but your issue is lack of protein intake atleast for health and looks.

For shitting, it's due to lots of fiber and taking in a bunch of foods your body doesn't have a ton of use for.

Btw please do not take me as a keto zealot, I'm the opposite and usually encourage if it fits macros for most.

Judging by your diet, it's no wonder you think my diet is crazy $$. I used to eat filets almost every night, but have gotten off of that lately. I don't waste good and we only go to dinner now once a week at most. My diet is cheap compared to many.

Why do you not eat meat?

Yea I'm confused. It's a simple diet. I'm not making gourmet food. I mean I could and still got macros but I much prefer to keep it simple.

If one is not capable of grill some skirt steak, onions, peppers, air during chicken and scrambling eggs.... Well I guess that seems hard. But that's about as simple as it gets.

They should see my bill if trying to gain weight if they think that's expensive. Hell they would shite if they saw some of the meal plans recommend to gain weight.

I'm really confused too though. Maybe it's because they don't lift and don't party attention to what they eat, I dunno.

Yeah, I'm seeing a handful of veggies, 3 eggs, and 4 reasonably sized pieces of meat. That doesn't cost much at all, especially when you bulk buy your meat. Now I'm interested in seeing what they're eating.

The guy posted above, he hardly eats meat, essential beans and rice for dinner and lunch. Eggs or cereal for breakfast.

Judging by what he posted, maybe getting 50g protein a day. Lol

I'm sure some thinking it's crazy go to lunch everyday. Or rice and gravy with like two small cubed pieces of meat in it.

I love rice and gravy, but there is a a reason I ended up 250lbs. And beans and rice.. frick that, I'm not poor.

I know I'm not out of line cause when the "how much you Sheena on groceries" post gets made I'm in line with others.

I love beans and brown rice. Throw in hot sauce or Lizano sauce from Costa Rica. Delicious. I eat it a few times a week and I’m not poor.

To each their own.

And that's fine, when trying to add muscle I eat black beans and brown rice but it is accompanied by 12oz chicken.

If you are eating for health or body comp/fat loss, a quality piece of meat/protein needs to form the basis of all your meals. The food pyramid turns into

Protein as the base
Green veggies as the second
Healthy fats as the third
Healthy carbs of that is what you want to eat is the top

But you don't have to be keto to eat healthy. It's just a a tool to do so.

You get your bloodwork done?

I was reading an article recently that cited a study showing a segment of the population not handling keto well from a health perspective. For some it’s the exact opposite. I think the next frontier is diet based on genetics. There’s already people getting this done but I’m not sure how advanced it is.
