Squamous cell carcinoma metastasizes and could spread to lymph nodes and vital organs.

Squamous cell carcinoma has the potential to spread and kill you if you don’t get it taken care of.

Locally destructive but a small % of SCCs can metastasize and cause much bigger problems.

I've seen people let it grow to the point that they end up their eyeball being removed or with tissue from their chest/arm/thigh being used to "fix" the defect. Turns a 4 hour process into a 12 hour surgery and 2 week hospital stay..

Moral of the story, get it taken care of.

Carcinoma is no joke. Get it taken care of in quick order before it spreads. Go to your dermatolgist on a regular basis to get it checked out, anything comes out as melanoma, might be worth a trip to MD Anderson to look for spreading to any non skin locations.
