Saw that rumor. Was hopeful it was going to be the deciding factor.

I’m not going to badmouth the kid, and I don’t wish him any ill will, but he has to know deep down Boom will likely be gone within the next year, and that other than a few bowl wins and personal awards, he likely won’t win anything of significance. If staying home around his friends is that important to him, I get it. But I can’t help but feel like he knows how special his career at LSU would’ve been, and if the reports about Mom wanting him to come here are true, that she had his best interest at heart. He and Guillory would’ve made a downright nasty duo. Wish him all best other than when he comes to Death Valley, but I hope he doesn’t regret it in hindsight.

If this coach was a major reason why he chose usce he needs to punch wm in the nuts the first time he sees him.

He committed to the school, not the coaching staff.

respek his decision.

If the kid doesn’t care about winning then I think it makes sense to stay home. Nothing wrong with that. SC is a dumpster fire and Muschamp is walking dead but whatever. It’s actually good for the game if local guys would play for their home state schools. Plus, remember when LSU sucked in the 90s but a few good players were convinced to stay esp Kevin Faulk?

Timing looks really suspicious.
Muschamp looks really shady here.

If Muschamp gets fired the upcoming season or at the conclusion, Burch can transfer without having to sit a year right?

Does it matter? Burch has to know this guy and Boom will both be gone before he leaves SC

Burch was probably already aware of this.

Happens all the time. Sucks for Burch if he didn’t know before signing, but this is how it usually works (coaches leave or get the boot only after NSD is signed, sealed, and delivered).
