Good list but not enough OL. I think we make that more of a priority next year. Also, Kendall Blackshire is a good one but we will go after more than 1 ILB.

Thanks for the work.

jamar

this might help by being divided into each position.

I agree with three safeties but we need at least 5 OL, 2 TE, less Dline, less WR.

QB - Caleb Williams
RB - LJ Johnson
RB - Evan Pryor
OT - Tristan Leigh
OT - Tommy Brockermeyer
add 2
OG - John Martin
WR - Agiye Hall
WR - Troy Franklin
WR - Mario Williams
WR - Chris Hilton
WR - Jacorey Brooks
WR - Deion Smith
WDE - Landon Jackson
DT - Anthony Hundley
DT - Maason Smith
DT - Payton Page
SDE - Shemar Turner
ILB - Kendrick Blackshire
OLB - Raesjon Davis
CB - Andre Turrentine
CB - Ga'Quincy McKinstry
S - Corey Coley Jr.
S - Sage Ryan
S - Kaine Williams

P - Peyton Todd

If we grab Page AND Maason Smith, we may be done at DT. I'd think Hundley would be out in that scenario

Jennings never had half the talent Williams does. If we are really talking apples to apples, everybody's favorite boy Nussmeier can't hold Williams jock in terms of pure talent. It's why you see "game manager", "instincts", "feel for the game" because if you side by side them in terms of talent Nuss has no argument. I like Nuss btw. Just calling it like I see it.

Does any of it mean Williams is can't miss? No. However there's not a qb on our board that can reach Williams in terms of talent. Maybe not one in the country.

I have yet to see anything that points to us not landing Williams. He and his dad are going through his recruitment with a very detailed list of things they want to see and we check everything so far. The new hire will be critical but the plan will be the same.
Biggest competition appears to be PSU and Clemson. Clemson has a loaded qb room and just brought in DJU. Think that factors in when decision time comes.
PSU I'm not sure how their room looks but he's been there a few times and has been here. Thus far we have the edge according to everyone. In fact before the Clemson visit it was us and UGA with PSU coming up 3rd. Only thing that has changed is UGA took Vandagriff and he visited Clemson. I say we lead still.

I think Oklahoma could be a big player as well. I'm hoping that once everything is cleared up with the staff, it won't be too long until we know where he's headed.

I’m okay with that five but I really would like us to start getting some big ugly’s on the offensive line. We need to start pulling in 3 or 4 highly rated lineman each year so we can utilize our elite skill players. If you can’t run the ball on a consistent basis the offense will not be nearly as productive

I agree. Even looking out to 2022, need to lock down more lineman.
With Marcus Dumervil committed for 2021, he ought to be able to help get a commitment out of Julian Armella for 2022. Then you have the in state kid from Neville, Campbell, for 2022 we need to lock down as well this season. You put Armella and Campbell in the mix you got something. These 2 boys ought to be top 5 OL in the country for the 2022 season.
