Moved up from 22 to 19 after yesterday’s games. That’s a big jump this late in the season, especially since they didn’t play yesterday. Have moved up from 25 since Tuesday

Iowa and Colorado (who were ahead of LSU) both lost last night. Iowa, at home, by double-digits to a good Maryland team. Colorado, to a bad UCLA team.

If you're gonna miss it on the very first page at least do it well!

I cannot get over something I heard Charles Hanagriff say yesterday on the radio. Teams are punished in the NET for offensive rebounds. Offensive rebounds are LSU's specialty and have helped LSU win several games.

How are teams punished for offensive rebounds?

I don't think that's right. The offensive efficiency rating is trying to determine the actual number of possessions. They subtract off rebounds and add turnovers to get this number.
The formula is total points divided by total possessions. If they counted off rebounds as a possession it would lower the offensive efficiency rating.
That's my undetstanding. Maybe I'm missing something.
edit: possessions = fga - off rebounds + turnovers + (.475 x fta)
