Teams that make bowls/postseasons gets a slightly larger share to account for success.
But this model works.
As a fan of LSU, you want LSU to be the best at everything.
But for the conference sake, you want different schools to excel at different sports, and you want schools to be able to improve themselves. You need almost equal revenue distribution for that.
Also... schools raise their own monies as well, and success shows up in those numbers.

But they distribute less because they have less.

But they are about to start distributing a shitload more than they used to now that they have a conference network.

has been the best thing for the SEC and one of the reasons the league has risen to be head and shoulders better than the rest of the NCAA in the money sports
Chicken/egg: SEC hasn’t had a member leave in 56 years. Only the B1G has a longer such streak. The most stable conferences are the best-off.

I know that. That's what I'm talking about. I don't care about the distribution method. I'm talking about how two prominent ACC programs in the same footprint as SEC schools isn't on a level playing field even though they're recruiting the same high school talent.

All I'm asking for is $150k of that. No biggie.

And the players get 0 percent. Pimping at its finest.

You responded to a couple posts that were discussing the benefits of equal distribution being the major reason for the SECs success, and the reply that the recruiting talent as the bigger success, so you can see where I could be confused as to what your argument was.
I mean, it’s obvious that more money is better than less money.

I responded specifically to one post that said sitting on a bed of talent was the reason.

Which was in response to the equal distribution post.
It came off as if you were arguing for the original post he responded to
