I “like” it. But not happy I did the year sub, because there seems to be so little new content in the works. But then I do have grand kids and mentally challenged sister who enjoys the old programs, so I will see after a year if it is still worth it.

I'm giving it until the renewal comes up and will likely cancel. I've watched everything on there that I wanted to watch and there isn't enough new content to keep me interested.

I have a 14 month old daughter and it has been worth every penny. I watched The Mandalorian, she watches all the stuff out of the vault. I know it makes me a bad parent who shows animated movies to a kid, but I've accepted this.

I hardly use it. I’ve watched Mandalorian and the Rocketeer, which was a childhood favorite that I hadn’t seen in 20+ years, and that’s it.

But I share my login with my sisters who have young children, and they get good use out of it, so no buyers remorse at this point.

Did the 3 years for the price of 2 and it’s so far so good for me. I have barely scratched the surface in the catalogue of things I want to watch/rewatch yet.

I’ll probably get caught up enough by the time WS And Falcon drops in August then WandaVision and Mandalorian S2 drop back to back this fall. New Monsters Inc show is suppose to drop the second half of this year as well.

We love it. But, we have a 5 year old at home. So, it's great for her. Especially if we do family movie night and she gets to pick.

I'm in this group, and agree, basically.

Loved Mandalorian, my son is doing nostalgic binges of Clone Wars, watched the occasional MCU rewatch and some older movies (Rocketeer preeminent among them). For the price, I find enough to get my 3-4 bucks a month out of it.

But yeah, they could use some more original programs.

Are you really having buyers remorse for 6 bucks a month? You spent more than that on lunch today. The way I look at it is if I use it more than a few hrs a month it’s worth it.

Yeah we’re not even 3 months in yet. There’s plenty of content on there. The D+ exclusive content was never going to be massive at launch. They were upfront about that.

Netflix launched their streaming in 2010 and for their first 2 years had zero original content. Hell over that next 2 years they had only a handful of originals.

I knew that

But Disney isn't Netflix circa 2010; they already have massive production facilities and resources at hand. And they have several major franchises from which they could spawn many such series; Marvel alone gives them endless possibilities from 'regular' action (Nick Fury, SHIELD) to pure SF (GOTG, etc).
Throw Star Wars into the mix, and you have ton of potential. And that's why I bought in.

I know it's not as 'adult' as other services, but when they sucked up the 2 biggest action/adventure franchises, Disney had to know they would be looked at to produce something for fans of those. I'm not complaining yet, but they do need to move forward with this.

I bought the 3 years for the price of 2. I have ZERO remorse.

But i have a 4.5 year old and a 2 year old that love all things Disney. Its pretty much the only thing ever on my TV downstairs.

But i can see someone without kids/ a non disney person not caring for it.

It's a principle thing. Teaching your kids the value of a dollar rather than pissing it away is still a meaningful lesson even if it is "only 6 bucks".

The way stream is becoming it's becoming easier and easier to get nickle-and-dime to death. Netflix, CBS All Access, Amazon Prime and so on.

I just don't like waste. Even if it is only 6 bucks.

I mainly got it for the Mandalorian. Might drop it until the MCU shows and season 2 of the Mandalorian drop later this year. I like being able to watch any Star Wars movie or mostly any MCU movie, but those movies are shown on cable all the time, so dropping Disney+ seems like the right move for me.

Also, I dropped WWE Network to pick up Disney+. Now that it is Wrestlemania season, seems like a good time to switch back.

.... They are.... they told you for a year at least what would be available at launch and what wouldn’t.

And I want quality not volume/quick availability.

This thread reminded me that I need to use this more. I've had it since it came out and have only watched 2 episodes of The Mandalorian.

So I watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame and half of Mulan yesterday.
