Check it out Kobe fans...and don't cry.

They may even bring Roy Firestone out of retirement.

Lebatard radio show is the best thing in espn radio.

No...he really is that guy. He is wonderful.
1st thing Rinaldi asked me when he got to my house in 2013 was..."Why do LSU fans hate Les Miles?"
My answer..."The same reason boxing fans never liked Larry Holmes...they replaced 'The Greatest'".
(NICK SABAN & MUHAMMAD ALI)
He laughed!

Agreed.
Absolutely ruins game day every Saturday during college football.

Why don’t you like Tom Rinaldi?

I hope Rinaldi is a sincere dude.
Otherwise, he capitalizes and makes bank off of people’s tragedies.
And..if Lebatard is what ESPN considers good...then no wonder ESPN Radio, like their entire network, is total dogshit now.

I’m over the Rinaldi shtick

It's one thing to cover stories about something truly unique and inspirational. It's another to go out of your way and find someone suffering to put in the spotlight every week because you feel like it.

It's sick and shake my damn head worthy how Rinaldi makes bank over peddling innocent people's misery.
It's gotten to the point where every time I see him on the screen, I assume that someone has cancer, died in a tragic accident or something sad is going on.
He needs to take a damn long break.

Sounds like a beef with ESPN and not Rinaldi. It takes a tough person to report on these stories constantly and not lose it in front of a camera. This is the job he does. It is what it is.
Would you suggest that funeral homes take advantage of innocent people’s misery as well?

He does what his espn bosses tell him to do

Exactly
I was disappointed when he interviewed Jameis Winston after the NC...but he was only doing his job.

The fact that he keeps taking orders from ESPN to take advantage of and showcase people's misery tells me he has no problem with it, especially when he's getting paid to to do so.
If I was in his position and I had a conscience, a bigger one than his especially, I would find a new job.

You might not once you see his paycheck. Do you think he likes covering these stories? The Tyler Trent Purdue Superfan story was brutal. I can’t imagine Rinaldi enjoys discussing tragic stories. With that said, the public eats it up, so someone at ESPN has to do it. Before him, it was others. Roy Firestone, Bob Ley, even Stuart Scott.
Your dislike for Rinaldi over what he does is kind of strange.
