They are nasty people. My cousin went to China and he said no one washes their hands. They don’t even have soap in bathrooms to wash your hands

What scares the crap out of me is that approximately 90 % of the generic drugs are either manufactured or the ingredients are sourced from China or India which is no better.In 2008,there were 81 people killed and 785 people made seriously ill by contaminated heparin from China.These were reported cases,I suspect the number was higher.
I just finished a book:BOTTLE OF LIES by Katherine Eban(an investigative reporter) that details the deficiencies and just plain nastiness of the facilities where these drugs are manufactured.
The saying -ignorance is bliss is true,I was horrified and infuriated that drug companies are so greedy that they have drugs made in these shite hole countries.I almost wish I hadn’t read this book

The federal government is poised to invest as much as $492 million to get Pure Water, the city of San Diego's effort to turn sewage into drinking water..... consumers will get the first drops of recycled water by 2021, when the plant is slated to produce 30 million gallons a day.
San Diego is expected to finish Pure Water’s entire infrastructure by 2035, at a total cost of roughly $3 billion. The completed network would include up to two more facilities and produce a third of the city’s drinking water from treated sewage.

I watched that video and really what comes to mind is this erroneous belief that china is in some way a threat to the united states. When in fact it's the largest and filthiest under developed country in the world. The chinese often boast about having the largest army in the world but what they don't talk about is how they can't keep boots on their frickin' feet or ammo in their rifles.
The vast majority of people in china live in abject poverty and the only reason the entire country doesn't errupt into revolution is the chinese government manages to keep a bowl of rice on every table, three times a day.
China is a barbaric and largely uncivilized country and maybe one day, we'll get central and south america to make all our garage. If you really want to keep all those frickers south of the border, that's how you do it.

Vaccines aren’t made in China,they’re made in Japan,France,Canada,Belgium and USA.The FDA monitors vaccine production closely but not all the other drugs made in China.According to the book I read FDA doesn’t have the resources to inspect Chinese factories closely and many inspectors don’t want to work there.Another issue is they have to give factories advance notice of an inspection.In the US FDA inspectors make random inspections without prior notice and frequently do so.

The problem with some drug substances is that they are only made from one place for the entire world supply. Sometimes you can only get the raw material from China, India, or elsewhere in the world.
In the US, the FDA can make surprise inspections, but they still have to announce themselves at the entrance to the site and still give you 15 to 30 mins before they start the inspection.
