Saw on his snap that he had eye surgery. Was that part of the reason he was limited in his role this year?

Possibly. A RB needs good vision on the field and off, learning that playbook

Thought eye read this somewhere already. Anyway, Emery should see the field early and also be a good pupil in the classroom.

Emery in space after catching a pass is what I’m hoping to see.

Hopefully it helps him recognize defenses and he can get on the same page as Brennan on each play. Seriously. If Brennan, Chase, Terrace, Racey, Gilbert and Emery can all get on the same page on each play in terms of reading the defensive formations there is no reason next seasons offense can't be a lethal as the Joe Burrow's led offense.

This is apparently the health issue that was referenced.

They did say he had a medical issue that was holding him back.

I wonder if the Tiger faithful are more obsessed with John Emery than they were with Russell Shepard?

That is very likely the "medical issue" that was mentioned. It would explain his struggles catching the ball.

He could easily have worn contacts

If he did have lasik. Why would not having it hold him back?

I see a transfer in his future after curry and price see the majority of the carries next year, he hasn’t impressed at all. Sorry to speak the truth, it may hurt some cry babies in here.
