I haven't been to Fleur de Lis in ages, is it still good? Have fond memories of inside the place too.

Oh and do they have the half baked option that you can take home from the to-go window?

never understood it even back in the 1980s when i was at lsu. seems like the pizza crust was almost burnt and not much in the way of toppings.

maybe i'm remembering the wrong dive under the interstate.

For years it was always Fleur De Lis or Pastime’s for the best pizza in BR. No clue who has the best these days.

Fleur de Lis is not under the interstate, that’s PastTime.

Fleur de Lis is a sentimental favorite, it’s tasty, in an old school, greasy sort of way. Don’t look as the dusty corners, or think about what the place would look like in bright lighting,

Fleur de Lis will be the same as you remember.

There is a divide on if its good or not.

If you liked it back then, you will like it now.

Fleur De Lis is decent, but far from excellent pizza. I'm not sure why Baton Rouge thinks it is the greatest thing in the city, because that is far from the truth.

They always are happy to give you a side of "go frick yourself" on the side. I've never been to a place that acted like you were bothering them by patronizing their business.

I enjoy it from time to time. One large with shrimp, Canadian bacon, & pineapple; another with double sausage & onions.

Baton Rouge associates anything that has been there for 50 years with excellence. So, Pastime, Brewbachers, Deerman’s, and Fleur de lis all get hype despite being just ok. I actually really like FDL, but it doesn’t like me back. Same with Louis.

City Slice has the best individual pizza to me. Duck Bacon and Romano.

Haven't been impressed with any of their other pizzas though, might just need to try more.

Red Zeppelin if I want a more traditional pizza.

I went with a couple of co-workers about 6 months ago. It was pretty damn good. Still don't take cards though which is crazy but whatever
