Every year there is some kid who wants to do something that is against the hygene/dress code/ rules of the school and they make it out to be some racial or cultural issue. It is not. It is simply "here are the rules" that all the kids are following accept this kid. It is like prom season when one kid wants to wear a kilt and screams about how his culture is being oppressed, or the kid who has long hear, or the kid who wants to where shorts, etc. The school has rules follow them.

Did you even read? The rule was changed during the middle of the school year after he has been in compliance all year long.

Walking for graduation is the stupidest waste of time on the planet and we should instill in our children the strength to walk away when they are being leveraged to do something against their principles.
