I for one watched every time they showed our off the field gang in the box , & it was always Brady on the mic , & Ensminger seemed to be just sitting around
It was that way during the OU game but it was just the opposite during the Clemson game.

Maybe Munoz leaving is part to make room for some of Peleni's family and staff on team?
First, why would an offensive analyst leaving open a spot for the DC’s family/staff? Second, if Pelini is demanding to bring his brother and friends, I want Bo even less than I already did.

Wish we could have kept him
Evidently Coach O did not feel he needed him. If Munoz was a factor dissecting defenses then maybe we should have kept him. However, what we need is that coach who can keep running this 2019 playbook seamlessly and who can read the defenses prior to the play to audible into the right play to exploit the defense alignment.

Aranda doing work on LSU staff

kinda makes you think ??
As far as I am concerned...
Aranda is an EX and I wish him the same success as anyone's EX.
I do not blame him for recruiting but when you come after your supporters ... all gloves are off.
Hope Baylor loses all their games.

He's probably going from making $50,000 to making $300,00.
Munoz made $78,000 for the 2019 season.
ETA: Was the highest paid Analyst on staff.

Not necessarily, may just not have had an on-field coaching position for him.

Munoz did an outstanding job for LSU for two years, but he wants to get back to on-field coaching. He was a solid WR coach for U of Fa La La La La for a number of years.

Just curious, what makes you think that Coach Munoz was that person?

I love coach E but I just don’t think he should be calling plays this year. I’m sorry but we have lost Brady and Munoz. Going to show up big next year.
He called our plays this year and won a natty.

We shall see.
Check my post history on Munoz.

Curtis recruited Ed Reed, Reggie Wayne to Miami. Coaches guys like Reggie Wayne, Santana Moss, Andre Johnson, Devin Hester, etc at Miami. A large reason why Drew Brees found success with WRs like Colston, Lance Moore, Devery Henderson, Robert Meachem, Joe Morgan, Kenny Stills, etc on the roster is Johnson's technical expertise. There's no downside to him being on the staff.
I don't know why he would want to be on a college staff again, though. He's going to take a pay cut and have to deal with teenagers.

Still a substantial raise.

Yep. On-field coaches make a lot more than analysts. That is the reason you are seeing our 2019 analysts taking on-field jobs at other programs. LSU pays their analysts better than most programs. Sark was only making $50K as an analyst at Bama.

Yeh but Sark was a risky hire. Drank his way out of the USC job.

Everyone acting like we shouldn’t be concerned about this is kidding themselves. Munoz had an integral role in Joe’s development and by all accounts was a very high intellect guy. Not saying we can’t find other high intellect guys, but when we already have the guy on staff that was Joe’s right hand man, and he gets poached to Baylor, yeah that’s concerning. I trust O, and I’m sure he’ll make a great hire, but I’m sure even he doesn’t have warm fuzzy feelings about Munoz leaving. Curious to see if Mangas will be poached as well.
