Ok, he's currently making $600K if LSU offers 2mil that's better than the $370K bump Wisky would give him. IMO he'd be coaching in a better conference against better quality teams each week, getting better exposure
and recognition. I believe he's the best coach available.

Aranda was making 2.5, I would imagine it would take double or more of what he makes at Wisconsin now which is close to $1 mil

At this stage right after the season they just had, with the AD we have now, the football program has a blank check to do what they would like.

Jim Leonhard played 10 years in the NFL. Money is probably not as big of a contributing factor. I see him sitting tight until he comes across the right HC job.

I agree with you. But so many LSU fans keep throwing out the 2million and over number for any and everybody mentioned. Has LSU finished paying off Canada's buyout yet? Just seems like a lot of money for a new hire you don't know will fit.

We stole Aranda from them and they didn't miss a beat...beat LSU the next year....so, they are doing something right up there.

He brought the 30 defense to UW and we have stuck with it since. Wilcox and now Leonhard haven't changed the basic defense. Works well for UW as we have a lot easier time recruiting linebackers than DL.

They're very good gatekeepers of the big 10. If he wants to win a natty and advance his career he should come to lsu
